Repairing a Vertiglide Shade

by on April 10, 2014

Since it was invented by Hunter Douglas over 15 years ago, the Vertiglide Duette Honeycomb Shade has been a very popular product. The second generation version, which came out about 10 years ago, was a significant improvement over the original in that they upgraded the wheel assemblies as well as the rails. The result was a more functional and durable product.  Vertiglide vertical honeycomb shades are reasonably durable coverings, as long as they are operated properly and not abused.  However, the wheel assemblies, the strings, magnet, tensioner and spring can wear out over time.

The good news is that despite its large size, the Vertiglide shade is fairly easy to repair.  Here are a series of videos that will help with these repairs:

    • Dan, I’m sorry, but that is not something that we have. I honestly don’t think that there are any of those left. I don’t know where you could find one.
