Employee Spotlight- Gretchen

Here at Fix My Blinds, we all work hard to work together to create a positive, efficient experience for our customers. We thought it would be nice for you all to get to know us a little more.

For the month of August, we are excited to introduce Gretchen. Gretchen is our product specialist here at Fix My Blinds, and she is a wealth of knowledge about blinds.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have a kind, smart and hilarious husband, and an active, football-loving, zany 10 year old son. They are the joys of my life. I spend as much as possible with them being goofy, playing board games, watching sports, playing catch and enjoying life.

How long have you worked at Fix My Blinds?

Started working here on January 2, 2008.

What do you like most about working here?

The number of things I’ve gotten to learn over the years here is amazing! This is not a job where I’ve been bored or stagnant. I am constantly encouraged to learn more, achieve more and be better.

What are three words you would use to describe yourself?

Curious, dedicated, honest.

What is your favorite thing about Colorado?

The weather! I love that we have four distinct seasons, each with its own beauty.

What is on your bucket list?

Visiting all of the National Parks in the US. There are 60; I’ve been to 12.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? Why?

Hawaii to see the active volcanic lava flows.

What are some special talents/fun hobbies you have?

I love to read, and read 2-5 books every month. I’ve been in the same book club for over 16 years.
