Employee Spotlight – Jamil

Everyone who works at Fix My Blinds is simply awesome! We’re so glad to have Jamil, our newest Customer Care Agent, on our team, Enjoy getting to know him a little.


Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I love my family and friends. I really like learning about anything. I do not like complacency, and I am always striving to be better in all aspects of my life.

How long have you worked at Fix My Blinds?

Three months.


What do you like most about working here?

The thing I like most about working here is the culture. Humble, Hungry and Smart are the core values of the company, but they aren’t just words. Everyone here tries to live by them, and we practice them daily with different activities and discussions that help each member of the team evaluate themselves and others.

What are three words you would use to describe yourself?

Grateful, Happy, Ambitious.

What is your favorite thing about Colorado?

The cleanliness of the city.

What is on your bucket list?

To marry my girlfriend, Aakanksha, get closer to God together, and travel!

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be? Why?

I would travel to Africa because I would like to know more about my ancestors and the history behind my race and culture.

What are some special talents/fun hobbies you have?

I play the acoustic guitar. I am very active in youth coaching and mentoring, and I am the greatest competitor you will ever meet.
